About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Supervisor (BPO Recruitment) — Athens, Greece
  • The Opportunity
  • A global customer experience and business services organisation is hiring a Talent Acquisition Supervisor to lead a high-output recruitment function in Athens. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can coach junior recruiters to hit targets consistently, and can build strong relationships with external recruitment partners.
  • You'll be responsible for managing a team of 9 junior recruiters focused on hiring for contact centre careers (customer support, customer experience, technical support, sales support and similar office-based roles), while also owning agency performance and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Performance (Core)
  • Lead, coach and performance-manage a team of 9 junior recruiters in Athens.
  • Set daily/weekly hiring priorities, allocate roles, and ensure workload is balanced across the team.
  • Drive recruitment activity and output: sourcing volume, screening quality, interview scheduling, offer management and start-date delivery.
  • Run structured team rhythms (daily stand-ups, weekly performance reviews, pipeline deep-dives).
  • Provide continuous feedback and training to improve recruiter capability, speed, and candidate quality.
  • Maintain high standards for candidate experience while still moving quickly.
  • End-to-End Recruitment Delivery
  • Manage hiring across high-volume operational roles within a contact centre/BPO environment.
  • Own the recruitment lifecycle: intake calls, job brief alignment, sourcing strategy, screening, stakeholder coordination, offers and onboarding handover.
  • Ensure recruitment processes are followed consistently and that hiring decisions are supported by clear evidence and structured assessment.
  • Agency & Stakeholder Management
  • Build and manage relationships with external recruitment agencies.
  • Set clear expectations on quality, speed, compliance and communication.
  • Track agency performance (submissions, interviews, hires, retention indicators where available) and take action when standards slip.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand headcount needs, hiring urgency, and role requirements.
  • Act as the "calm in the chaos" when priorities shift—keeping delivery on track.
  • Process, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor key recruitment metrics (pipeline health, time-to-fill, conversion rates, recruiter productivity).
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement practical improvements to increase speed and quality.
  • Ensure recruitment activity is documented properly and that the team is operating with consistency and accountability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading recruitment delivery in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a large team capacity (team of 9 recruiters) — this is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • Confident communicator who can manage expectations with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • A hands-on leader: you're not just delegating—you're driving outcomes.
  • Strong Advantages
  • Solid Talent Acquisition knowledge (process, metrics, stakeholder management, hiring strategy).
  • Experience in BPO / contact centre recruitment (or similar high-volume operational hiring environments).
  • Experience managing agency relationships and improving external partner performance.
  • Start Date
  • ASAP — they will wait for the right person, but the hiring process is urgent and will move quickly.
